Mitchell was born and raised in Northern Illinois. He attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Sociology in 2019. Afterwards, he attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated in 2022 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Soon after, he relocated to Phoenix, AZ.
Mitchell has experience evaluating and treating patients with a variety of diagnoses in the outpatient orthopedic setting. He has found success treating chronic pain, post-operative, and sports-related conditions throughout the lifespan. Mitchell strives to create an environment wherein which he and his patients can maintain an open dialogue and work together to achieve the best therapy outcomes. His treatment philosophy relies heavily on education and empowerment so that his patients are prepared to manage their symptoms following discharge from physical therapy.
When he is not in the clinic, Mitchell prioritizes friends and family. He spends his free time lifting weights, running, hiking, attempting to golf, and watching the Chicago Bears lose football games.
