Ian Chapple grew up in South Africa and came over to the United States to play Division I soccer. He earned his degree in a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University Of Louisville in 2000. Ian has lived in Arizona for the last 13 years and is married with four beautiful children. Ian has continued his passion for sports and fitness by coaching junior soccer and is an avid distance runner.
Ian has specialized in all sports and orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis in human movement, manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, custom orthotic prescription, and the treatment of orthopedic related injuries. His treatment philosophy is functional, utilizing prescriptive corrective strengthening and flexibility exercises. Ian has worked with athletes and the active population at all levels.
Ian has also specialized in treating overuse running injuries with a focus in the biomechanics of the foot and ankle and custom orthotics. Ian’s passion is treating and educating patients of all levels to gain a better understanding of their body to be able to function at their greatest potential in life.
