Katie is a Phoenix native and graduate of Arcadia HS. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in 2007. While at ASU she developed a passion for triathlon. Shortly after competing in the Ironman World Championships, she decided to take a gap year to pursue the sport at the elite level while working at a local running specialty store. This gap year turned into a decade, but was just a detour for her ultimate desire to become a physical therapist. She graduated with honors from A.T. Still University in 2020. She completed ATSU’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency & Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She enjoys working with endurance sports athletes and treating overuse injuries. In her free time she enjoys trail running, hiking, and swimming.
